Tae Kwon-Do Hyungs (Patterns)

One of the most challenging components of Tae Kwon-Do, when climbing the ladder to Blackbelt, is learning to practice each of the 9 traditional hyungs, or patterns as we refer to them in class. By clicking the links below, students will be able to download a detailed diagram of any pattern they wish, making practice time at home, simple!

Diagrams

Below are diagrams of the first 9 Tae Kwon-Do Patterns. Students may download any or all that they wish. Practice of these patterns should be done daily as it is an intrical part of becoming a Blackbelt at MacKenzie's Gold Medal Family Karate. These diagrams are designed to help students to practice what they've already learned in class and are not designed to replace the invaluable instruction given by our Master Instructors.
